Avita will be holding a Safe Sitter and two Safe@Home classes on June 8 and June 9
These programs will help prepare students to care for themselves and others.
Safe@Home is designed to prepare students in grades 4-6 to be safe while home alone. The 90-minute program covers safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do in an emergency such as power failure and severe weather. The course also includes a Safe Sitter First Aid Chart and teaches children how to assess and respond to injuries and illnesses.

Safe Sitter prepares students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they are home alone, while watching younger siblings, or babysitting. These courses cover safety skills, childcare skills, first aid and rescue skills, and life and business skills. Lessons are conducted through games and role-playing exercises.

📢 Reminder for Families!

Please make sure your student’s FinalForms are always up to date—you don’t want to miss an important call! FinalForms is where we keep all essential student information, including contact details, medical information, transportation needs. Keeping this information current helps us communicate with you quickly and accurately when it matters most.

📅 FinalForms should be reviewed and updated anytime you have a change, and at the start of each school year beginning June 1.

🎒 Enrolling a kindergartener? Be sure to set up your FinalForms account before your student can begin school.

Thank you for helping us keep your student safe, informed, and ready for success!
