It's back! We need your help in participating in a fun community service project. As a fun bonus, we will set up the boxes like dominoes through the halls of the building as a school-wide Cereal Box Domino Challenge before donating them.
We had so much fun last year -- we hope to make an even longer chain this year!
How You Can Help:
📦 Donate unopened cereal boxes – Any brand or size is welcome! We are asking for students to donate at least ONE box. The student in each grade-level who brings in the most boxes will be the one to start the chain reaction.
📍 All cereal will be donated to: Ohio Heartland Community Action
📅 Send in donations by: Thursday, March 5th
We invite your family to come experience all our students' chosen passions and/or historical figures they have been learning about. We hope every student is able to attend to showcase their new learning! 👏🏻
Schedules of presentations will be sent home with students shortly. Attached is a copy as well.

We are back with our monthly segment in "Parents Supporting Students of all ages"
We want to thank our partnership with Crawford Co Prevention Coalition.
February, the focus is on stress and how stress looks different at every age—but every student needs tools to handle it in healthy ways. Attached is a guide for parents to cover talking points when it comes to Mental Health and Coping Skills. It's important to know the warning signs and have coping strategies.
Coping Skills that help young adults: Just highlighting our graphic..
1. Mindfulness and Relaxation
(breathing exercises, meditation, grounding techniques)
2. Physical Activity
(walking or dancing releases endorphins and can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression)
3. Talk it out
(Sharing thoughts and feelings with adults you trust, therapist)
4. Journaling
5. Routine and Structure
(Regular sleep, meals, and activity schedules)
6. Goal Setting (Start small)
7. Healthy Boundaries (learning to say No, prioritize your own needs protects energy and reduces burnout)
Bottom Line: Everyone’s experience is unique; Mental Health Challenges are common and treatable. Healthy coping skills can make a real difference. Support Matters
