What a glow-tastic day! 💛
Students who did not receive a minor or major during the month of March were treated to a Glow Dance with many Glow Games, such as glow puzzles, glow beach balls, glow basketballs, glow ring toss, etc.
We love our bright and shining students!
Our 3rd-grade students recently held their annual Living Wax Museum! 💙
Students picked and researched a positive role model in history, developed a Keynote presentation using their research, and brought 3 artifacts to showcase with their chosen person.
Look how realistic these students are in representing the historical figures!
GIS lit it up BLUE today 💙
We celebrated World Autism Day with a special student-made presentation about what is Autism and how we can celebrate! What a fun day to learn about awareness and acceptance 🧩
Good afternoon we do apologize for the inconvenience however in effort to keep our students safe, based on impending weather conditions we will dismiss one hour early today. Morning preschool will dismiss as normal. There will be no afternoon preschool or any afternoon activities.
Again, we have our student best interest in mind as we make this decision. Be safe and we will see everyone back on campus tomorrow.

World Down Syndrome Day! 💙💛 (early due to Spring Break Thursday 3/21)
We celebrated by wearing our crazy/mis-matched socks, a group of students created and presented information about Down syndrome, and our very own Jude gave a speech and showed off his awesome dance moves! 🎗️💙
Reminder to all that the Galion City Schools extended Spring Break begins on Thursday, March 21st so that our staff can participate in professional development. Who can Sharpen the Saw? These students can! These students know how to balance their lives for success. What a great skill to have! 💙
Our 5th-graders got a special treat yesterday during their lunches. Our GMS choir came down to show off their beautiful voices - and let students know what they do as we enter scheduling season.
At the end, many students raised their hand that they would be interested in joining choir next year 🥳
