Our GIS 5th-grade choir sang their holiday hearts out at Christmas @ The Galion performances 🎄🎶

The monthly Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio Crawford County Mobile Drive-Thru Food Pantry will be held from 4:00-5:30 p.m. on the Galion City School District Campus on Tuesday, December 27th. As always, we are looking for volunteers to help out. Find information for families and register to volunteer at www.galionschools.org/page/mobile-food-pantry/.

Check out our Self-Disciplined Portrait of a Tiger, 4th-grader, Korinna! 🧡💙
Her teachers nominated her because: "She works hard to complete tasks until finished and does not give up. Kori is self-disciplined by being prepared for class and ready to learn. She is an example to her classmates and is a positive role model."
She was honored at our last board meeting for her accomplishments 👏🏻

As of Friday isn't already the best day of the week!
🎟️ Each Friday we hold our Tiger Ticket Store for students to redeem the tickets they earn for positive behaviors throughout the week.
💃 We also had our monthly incentive - an in-school dance party!
All while that sneaky Grinch showed up! 💚

The Mothers of Military Men and Women have sent out November donations off! Thank you to all who have donated. Don't forget we are taking non-perishable foods for the Food Pantry at Crawford County Community Action this month for our service project donations.

Our lost and found is overflowing. Items will be out to be collected until winter break and then will be donated. If your kiddo is missing something make sure they check before Dec. 20th.

The GIS Safety Patrol received a grant from the Galion Elementary PTO for hot cocoa mugs ☕️
The safety patrol members were able to work with advisor, Mrs. Price, and make custom designs for their mugs by printing their designs using a special sublimation printer in Makerspace and then used a cup press to apply the images to their mugs.
These will keep them warm outside as they help escort our students safely into the building for the long winter to come! 🥶

Food Drive 🥫 for Crawford County Community Action.
📆 This project runs from November 27th - December 15th.
