Principal Davis and Principal Sexton led the school this Friday - and what a Friday it was! Beyond helping with our Friday Tiger Ticket Store 🎟️, Mr. Davis got to step into his sister's gym class and challenge her to a hockey duel 🏒 and make sure all the Valentines Day parties were ready to go ❤️, but also got to help our Superintendent with a prank for our coin war 🪙 The job isn't always easy, but we still like to have fun 🤪

Love the Bus Month
It is our goal is to get staff and students to school in a safe manner. We hope everyone will see the importance of this message. Please reduce your speed. Remember there is a 20mph speed limit on campus and be on the lookout for the most iconic staple of American Public School, the BIG YELLOW BUS!!! Our Transportation Department runs 62 routes daily. Please afford each bus the right of way with a sure and clear distance. They are transporting our Tigers, and need to maneuver though our campus parking lots. Everyone's help in this is greatly appreciated.

Students in Mrs. Buzza's 3rd-grade class created their own store and "toys" to sell. It integrated addition, subtraction, rounding, and multiplication skills as well as economics. Future entrepreneurs if you ask me!

The yellow school bus is among the most recognized icons of American schools and society. Research demonstrates that the yellow school bus is the safest mode of transportation for some 25 million American school children each day. School bus drivers are provided rigorous training, preparation and testing to ensure the safety of our children. The women and men who manage and operate local school transportation systems are dedicated to the safety of all children. They also ensure efficiency and accountability in the delivery of each Galion student. Those that are involved with Galion Transportation range from building secretaries, bus drivers, bus aides, and bus maintenance. Galion City Schools recognizes the vital role that the yellow school bus plays in our education enterprise and in the life of our district. Galion City Schools declares the month of February 2024 to be LOVE THE BUS MONTH!!!

Principal Dick and Principal Sherer ran the building on Friday! These two spent 100 of their hard earned tickets to help with the Tiger Ticket store, keep the halls clear of anyone wandering, and even snuck in some extra gym time ❤️ (I see administration being in the family business for the Dicks, too 😉)
