We investigate a lot of things in STEM, but pumpkins?! Oh my gourd 🤪
We are THANKFUL for our staff, and we hope you are too! HELP US show our appreciation during the week of Nov. 14th-18th! 📝🍪👩🏻🏫💐✏️
Good Evening, Just a quick reminder tomorrow, our Galion students will not have school. Our staff will be in district for in-service and the High School gym will be used for elections. Enjoy your day off and we will see you on Wednesday.
Last Wednesday was a littttlee bit busy! Each grade-level had both a Red Ribbon assembly held by some of our GHS students and cashed in their monthly PBIS incentive. For October, students earned digital bingo!🤞🏻
All hail the winner of SOCKtober, Miss Speck's class! They celebrated their success with a pizza party 🍕
Thank you to EVERYONE who helped support the sock drive -- and don't forget, this month's collection is for our Troops! 🇺🇸
Success is best when it's shared, even if it's with a hula hoop 😉
Our House teams competed to have the shortest time to get a hula hoop all the way around the circle without using their hands.
Cheers, smiles, laughs filled the halls as these students tried to move as fast as possible! 🔄
Calling all family Vets of students at GIS 🇺🇸

There's no wrong way to practice spelling words, especially if you get to get your hands a little dirty 🎨 just ask these ROAR kiddos!
Our lost and found is already growing 😱 make sure you have students check our rack in the cafeteria if they are missing any jackets/coats, hats, gloves, etc.
Also, putting initials or names on the tag and/or inside of their items can help us return items timely!
These genius' didn't fold (😉) to todays Makerspace challenge. Check out these origami skills!
Our November Service Project is here! We will be collecting items for our deployed troops ❤️💙🤍
Students, with a donation, are allowed to dress down on Wednesdays!
And that's a wrap on our 10th Annual Sock Drive 🧦
Our building brought in 2,639 socks! Mrs. Speck, Mrs. Valentine, and Mrs. Guy's homerooms took the crown 👑
Thank you ALL for helping us support the Marion Homeless Shelter!

Allll the awards to wrap up our 1st quarter of the year! 🥇
We recognized our lighthouse and safety patrol team members, most improved students, perfect attendance, pawsitive office drawings, announced the Q1 house team (Onraka 🧡), staff member of the month, and principals award.
Mrs. Garver's class decided they needed to get their classroom ready for Halloween by carving a class pumpkin 🎃 but don't ask Aiden how he felt about it 🤣
Can YOU sharpen a pencil with a touch of a button? Payton can! ✏️
She is using her adaptive switch to run the pencil sharpener to make sure her and all her classmates are ready to go for the day!
One step is just too easy for Mr. Rinehart's 4th-grade class (and writing on paper 😉)
Here are students are working on double digit by double digit multiplication, then subtracting then taking the difference and putting into equal groups!
Tomorrow (10/24)and Wednesday (10/25) our 3rd-graders take their Fall ELA assessment.
We hope all of our 3rd-graders get plenty of rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and come with a positive mindset 🧡
