As we wrap up National Teacher/Staff Appreciation week, we want to thank all those who work behind the scenes to ensure our Tigers have what they need to succeed at Galion City Schools. No matter what your role is here in Galion, you are appreciated for ALL you do. You make a difference, one child at a time!

The administration of Galion City Schools would like to recognize and show our appreciation for these amazing educators. "Each adult in our district influences our students, so regardless of title, we are all teachers in one way or another. As a team, we bring our A-game and support our kids. It's tough work, draining work, but absolutely fulfilling. Thank you for changing the world, over and over again, one student at a time!" Dr. Jeff Hartmann
Today, we went GRAY to support our some of our own students and all others who have been diagnosed with brain tumors. We are glad to have our survivors with us 🩶
Is it to scale? Our Makerspace students can make sure it is! These students worked on scale drawings with Mr. Lehman ✍️
Right to Read Week is here! 🏰 To celebrate, we will be holding a spirit week to encourage a love for reading (and in this case, our theme, Fairytales and Fables 🦄).
This month is going to be HOT 🔥, but let Lighthouse and PBIS help cool your student(s) down after their recess fun.
Students will have the opportunity to purchase:
🍡 popsicles this coming Wednesday (5/8)-Friday (5/10)
🍋fresh lemonade next Wednesday (5/15)-Friday (5/17)
Al proceeds go right back to the respective teams fund, which goes right back to our students!
Being the Principal for the Day is cool, but Mrs. Price’s assistant is awesome too 😉 Tristan spent the day learning the ins and outs of being an educational assistant - which is NEVER dull.
Join us in celebrating #GoGrayinMay as we raise awareness and celebrate some of our own students' recovery from their brain tumors. 💙🧠
We encourage students to wear gray on May 7th!

Mr. Schmidt and Miss Wiggins held down the school this Friday as our Principals! They had many tasks today, but the best (and craziest) part is always the weekly Tiger Ticket Store. They rocked the day!
One final checkmate! 4th-grade finished their last chess club session with round robin matches ♟️
Our 5th-grade band and choir put on a great show of all their hard work this year 🎵 we are so thankful for Mrs. Griffin (choir) and Miss O'Deens (band) for helping our students find a love in music!
Today, we wear R.E.D to Remember Everyone Deployed ❤️ #PurpleUpOhio
