Yesterday we ended the last day of the 3rd-Quarter with our grade-level award ceremonies. We celebrated our cursive contest winners, spelling bee champs, good and perfect attendance for January and February, most improved, staff members, principals award, pawsitive drawing prize, and announced the Quarter house winner! 😅🥰
This week for our House team meetings, and in spirit of Right to Read week, our students paired up and shared a book together. Nothing better than connecting over a good book 📚🥰
CheckMATE says our 5th-grade chess club members ♟️
Mrs. Garver's class presented to an audience of district administrators today. They studied countries from around the world and created posters to use in their presentations. They celebrated their accomplishments by tasting a variety of foods from each of the countries they learned about. They did a great job and some even shared their favorite dance moves to complete their presentation. Great job everyone!
When the weather is nice, you can bet Makerspace takes advantage of it! ☀️ Students completed as many items on an outdoor scavenger hunt as possible.
You might see a new parking spot sign - we have a new spot reserved for those who have served our country.

Hidden around the school were 100 mini frogs. Those who found earned a small treat to start their extra day.

What a PIE-nomenal day 🥧
From our coin war, our top three with the most points earned their "prize" today - a pie to the face!
🥉 3rd place - Ms. Becky Skillicorn. Pied by her two grandsons, Jaxin and Jayse.
🥈 2nd place - Mrs. Price. Pied by her son, Bentley.
🥇 1st place - Ms. Lutz. Her daughter Lilly was out today, so Brooklyn stepped in to join the fun.
And we even had a surprise for our 1st-place winner; she got to pie our Superintendent, Dr. Hartmann!
Through this fundraiser, we raised $897.90 💰 this goes DIRECTLY back to our students so we are thrilled!
So THANK YOU to not only our pie-receivers for being great sports 😉 but THANK YOU to all the students/families/community members who contributed to our coin war!
